Homework policy
Homework mat be assigned every day at the end of class.
Homework will be checked for completeness and accuracy at the beginning of class the next day.
When a student begins to work on homework at home they are to put the start time and stop time on the upper right hand of their paper. After a student has worked for 30 minutes, at home, they can stop and get full credit for the assignment. A percentage of completeness will be given as their grade for that assignment.
If a student has been absent they can get full credit if the assignment is turned in the first day they return. They will have an additional day to complete missed assignments after they return from an excused absence.
20 percent will be deducted from missed assignments for subsequent missing days. In order to see that missing assignments are turned in in a timely manner the high school missing homework policy is used.
